One-Sentence Description: An exploration of horror films and cocktails from a queer and feminist perspective.

Full Description: With Drinking and Screaming, you’ll find yourself pulled into a new horror film to discuss and a new cocktail to try every week. We’re a queer and feminist horror movie review podcast based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. Episodes are laced with celebrity guests, queer and feminist discussion perspectives, production trivia, and clips and soundtracks from the films! **Char and Kelly are neither professional movie critics nor professional bartenders, but they are very good at both drinking and screaming.

Episode Data

Length: 40-60 minutes.

Format: First ~3 minutes include our intro and any special announcements, with any relevant content warnings clearly stated after our cocktail discussion and before we begin discussing the film. Our mid-roll break (~3 minutes) highlights our social media, sponsor/liquor donor of the week, an indie podcast promo, and any extra shout-outs. We end every episode with our “Scaredy Facts” trivia section and final thoughts, before announcing what we’ll be watching next week.
